Practice Nurses assist in the implementation of specialised health programs and promotion of good health. They are experienced in general nursing as well as being trained in specialist areas pertaining to General Practice.
Health AssessmentS
Health Assessments are intended to benefit members of our community by providing them with a regular government funded health check. Most people aged 75 years and over, 45 years or over or who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, are eligible for a Health Assessment once each year. This involves a comprehensive appointment with a Practice Nurse followed by an appointment with your regular GP to review and discuss the findings.
Chronic Disease Management
Patients with chronic diseases may be eligible for a GP Management Plan/Team Care Arrangement. These plans are Medicare subsidised and enable GPs to refer to Allied Health providers (e.g. podiatrists, dietitians, speech pathologists etc) to assist with the patient's management. Please make an appointment with your GP to discuss eligibility.
Immunisations
We offer a range of immunisations - childhood immunisations as per the National Immunisation Program Schedule, vaccines for travel, flu vaccines (seasonal) plus more.
medication review
Medication reviews are designed for patients who have been prescribed multiple medications. They aim to assist them in understanding the drugs, their actions and side-effects and to optimise the benefits. Medication reviews are helpful in preventing problems which may arise from both prescribed and over-the-counter medications.

Lister House offers in-house and/or third party translation services to cater for many language and cultural diversities. Please speak to our friendly staff or GP’s when making your appointment to be placed with the appropriate resource to assist your needs
Pregnancy care
We have Dr Mohan Kulatunga, Dr Glen Russell and Dr Ibrahim Munu and Dr Khansa Shabir who are trained in obstetrics. Please note Dr Mohan has recently finished private obstectric practice at Shepparton Private hospital.

Skin Services
Our clinic offers full skin checks for Skin cancer detection and management including cryotherapy, curettage and excision of lesions. We have Dr Abdul Kareem Shaik who has a special interest in Skin cancer and is an experienced dermatoscopist who can perform multiple skin procedures. We are accepting new patients for Skin checks. Please ask our reception staff to make appointments.
women’s health
We have several Doctors within our Practice that have a special interest in women’s health. Particular Doctors offer Mirena and Implanon. Please speak to our Reception staff for more information
