Dr Lester Nazareth was born and raised in Dubai. He completed his VCE in Victoria at Dandenong High school and entered the Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne in 2006. He achieved a Commonwealth Scholarship and completed his honours year in 2009, attaining his first publication, “Investigating steroid use and its relation to cardiovascular risk”.

Following this, he commenced post-graduate studies in the Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University's Gippsland campus in 2010 and completed part of his studies in Malaysia as an exchange student. After graduation, he worked in Emergency Medicine, Medicine, Orthopaedics, Geriatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Psychiatry and General Practice -at Frankston and Rosebud Hospital.

He has undertaken further research and has published in Radiation Oncology and Cardiology journals and has also volunteered extensively in Nepal, Malaysia and Australia.

Dr Nazareth has recently joined Lister House Medical Centre and is undergoing further study in dermatology, something he thoroughly enjoys.

In his free time, he plays soccer, goes cycling, travels, reads extensively, is engaged in youth groups at church and hopes to further volunteer.
